What about Phthalates?

Phthalates are present in many different kinds of rubber, vinyl, or even pvc. These phthalates can cause damage to both the environment and to us: DEHP, DBP, and BBP are three phthalates in particular that have harmful effects on neurodevelopment, metabolism, and fertility.
These phthalates can frequently be found in cheaper, low-quality toys that can cause harm to unknowing or unaware consumers. This is often due to manufacturers’ lower standards, which we do not share. At Belgotoys, we aspire to be different.
Belgotoys prides itself on its high-quality products that follow the EU’s strict safety laws. Our toys comply with the EU toy chemical requirement EN71-3, which expects total screening and an in-depth risk assessment of our products. We also comply with the EU toy chemical requirement EN71-11, which implements safeguards regarding the mechanical and physical properties of toys. All our products satisfy the rules of EU directives concerning phthalates.
We’ve been producing toys in Belgium for more than 25 years, and so pride ourselves on the professional standard to which we hold ourselves.
As a result, we can confirm that not only are our toys made of the highest-quality material, but that they are also completely in accordance withe the European legislation making them completely safe for personal use.
